Terms of Service

Welcome to The Shooters Hub, a service operated by Fortney Engineering LLC. By accessing or using our platform, including the website, APIs, and related tools, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or register for matches on The Shooters Hub. Youth shooters may only participate under the supervision and account management of a parent or legal guardian. Parents are solely responsible for any actions taken under their account on behalf of a youth shooter.

We reserve the right to implement "managed accounts" in the future to better support junior divisions, but as of now, youth accounts must be parent-controlled.

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to use The Shooters Hub lawfully, safely, and respectfully. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, and for all activity under your account.

3. Match Content & Club Responsibility

All match data, schedules, scores, fees, and policies are maintained by individual match directors and clubs. The Shooters Hub serves only as a facilitator. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings or match content, nor are we responsible for any changes, cancellations, or disputes between shooters and match directors.

4. Payment & Refund Policy

Payments for matches are collected by the respective clubs or match directors, not by The Shooters Hub. All refund policies are determined solely by the match director at their discretion. The Shooters Hub is not responsible for processing or enforcing refunds or payment issues.

Please read the event details carefully before registering, and contact the match director directly for any refund or cancellation requests.

5. API Use

If you use our public APIs, you agree to do so responsibly. Abuse—such as scraping excessive data, attempting to bypass platform restrictions, spoofing user activity, or conducting any unauthorized commercial activity—is strictly prohibited.

We reserve the right to revoke API access at any time, for any reason, especially if you're doing stupid shit.

6. Platform Availability

We strive to keep The Shooters Hub running smoothly, but we provide it “as is” with no guarantee of uptime or error-free service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

All branding, design, and source code for The Shooters Hub is the property of Fortney Engineering LLC unless otherwise noted. You may not reuse or republish any materials without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Fortney Engineering LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of The Shooters Hub or participation in any match listed on the platform.

9. Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of The Shooters Hub shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Vernon County, Wisconsin. You agree to waive any right to a trial by jury or participation in a class action lawsuit.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. We’ll notify users of major changes where required. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
